The West Cape Howe Story

Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe is one of the most southerly points, rising some 250 metres above the Southern Ocean. West Cape Howe Winery is named after this magnificent landmark.

Visit the West Cape Howe Wines websiteWest Cape Howe Wines was established in 1997 as the States first contract wine making facility. By early January 2000, the West Cape Howe wine range was born commencing a new era in the development of the winery.

Following exceptional growth coupled with entry into several international markets in 2003 it became a fully dedicated winery to the brand.

Today, West Cape Howe owned and managed by renowned winemaker Gavin Berry is rated in the top 8% of all Australian producers.

It was also the recent recipient of the James Halliday Wine Companion 5 Red Star Rating (awarded only after being the recipient of a 5 star rating for 3 consecutive years).

It is the quality of the region and the combination of skill and artistry between viticulture and wine making that makes drinking West Cape Howe wines a truly memorable experience.
