The 2008 Wine Degustation Dinner will be hosted by special guest, winemaker Gavin Berry and part of the proceeds from the event will go to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, which co-ordinates the fundraising for the largest public Health Service on the Darling Downs, Toowooomba Hospital.
The evening will feature Weis specialty canapés and hors-d'oeuvres matched to a highly acclaimed red and white wines.
Enjoy a superb seafood entrée and main feature prepared by Weis’ Executive Chef, presented with a group of the finest from Western Australia’s Great Southern region, including a Styx Gully Chardonnay, Double Gold winner at the 2008 San Francisco Wine Show.
A selection of fresh seasonal fruits, the best Australian cheeses and a memorable Bookends Cabernet Sauvignon will follow, with Weis Restaurant's mouth-watering buffet dessert to finish.
Guests have a chance to win the Lucky Door Prize, Mystery Wine, participate in the Collectors Charity Auction and exclusive case prices will be available to event attendees only.
Proudly supporting the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation, the 2008 Wine Degustation Dinner will be held on Wednesday September 3 from 6.30pm in the Dalby Room at Weis Restaurant.
Cost for the evening is $90 per person and bookings are essential as the event is limited to just 50 people.

The West Cape Howe Story
Located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, West Cape Howe is one of the most southerly points, rising some 250 metres above the Southern Ocean. West Cape Howe Winery is named after this magnificent landmark.
West Cape Howe Wines was established in 1997 as the States first contract wine making facility. By early January 2000, the West Cape Howe wine range was born commencing a
